PT. ANEKA TUNA INDONESIA was established in October 1991, as a joint venture company between Itochu Corporation, Hagoromo Foods Corporation – a leading tuna brand owner in Japan, and one other foreign firm.
Located in mountains area with exotic panorama in East Java Province of Indonesia, we began commercial operations in November 1992, specializing in production and sale of canned tuna.
Itochu does the overall sales and management, while Hagoromo Foods is in charge of production. All of the partners are actively involved in improving product quality including dispatching technicians from Japan and sending local technicians to Japan for training.

Procurement of tuna raw material also extends around the world, from the waters surrounding Indonesia to the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. HR Senior Manager
General Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of employment law
  • Demonstrable experience of development and management of appropriate HR systems
  • Ability to supervise and manage own and others’ workloads qualifications and experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a HR manager in manufacturing company is required. This must be of a generalist nature, with stand-alone responsibility for HR strategy and policy, recruitment, training and development, performance management and employee relations
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a significant workload in addition to well-developed interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to make a significant contribution to the development of policy or strategy is a key requirement.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with strong multitasking capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to work to tight deadlines and priority tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with a range of different stakeholders. Presentation skills are essential.
  • Excellent written communication skills with proven experience in a variety of written forms including policy documents, web content, correspondence and business cases.

Job Description:
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategy
  • Manage all recruitment campaigns within PT. ATI and develop and maintain induction program for all new hires
  • Be responsible for employee relations and employee succession planning and development
  • Have responsibility for the management of all grievance and disciplinary issues and will support and advise management on disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, and assist in disciplinary and grievance meetings when necessary
  • Provide advice and direction on employment law
  • Manage, review and update PT. ATI’s performance management system and provide support to line-managers
  • Be responsible for all organizational training and development activities including staff, board members and other committees
  • Be responsible for implementing, amending and up-dating the policies and procedures in line with best practice while ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Manage employee communication and feedback through such avenues as organization wide meetings and staff briefings
  • Help to monitor the Corporate culture so that it supports the attainment of the Corporate goals and promotes employee satisfaction
  • Complete regular HR audits to ensure employee files, policies and procedures are up to date
  • Develop HRIS and keep up-to-date all HR administration systems including salaries & increments, leave, probation and training
  • Mentor and coach line-managers with HR issues and with training and development
  • Promote the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values through actions, training, communications and leading by example
  • Salary system development

Actual target from top management:
  • To review all activity of HR dept. is whether current system is matching to 3000 worker factory or not.
  • Organization structure design
  • Set up the system for head hunting including salary system.
  • Set up the program how to grow the 2nd generation.
  • Evaluation system of manager and/or title holder
  • Current HR member level up
