DIGITAL & DESIGN MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Digital & Design Manager oversees the design and functionality of the Sinar Mas Agri-business and food main and satellite websites (goldenagri.com.sg; smart-tbk.com) and intranets (SMARTNet/SMARTPortal) while ensuring the content helps further the Sinar Mas Agri-business and food business objectives and mission. The Digital & Design Manager is also responsible for preparing e-newsletters and occasional electronic appeals and invitations, and making use of external web-based resources – MailChimp, GoogleMaps, Wikis, SharePoint, Hootsuite, etc – to help further tell the Sinar Mas Agri-business and Food corporate story in a compelling, shareable way.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Accountabilities
- Ensure that the Sinar Mas Agri-business and food web activities are meeting strategic goals;
- Lead new web-based initiatives, in collaboration with CCSR, IT, and programme area colleagues;
- Ensure that content on the websites is up to date and optimally displayed;
- Liaise with programme staff on content review and development;
- Ensure that content management and reporting systems capabilities are optimized;
- Create, maintain and delete individual Web pages;
- Design web page templates;
- Design graphics for web pages.
- Write and edit appropriate web and email text;
- Design and/or code web pages, e-newsletters, e-appeals and e-invitations;
- Ensure that all of Sinar Mas agri-business and food’s electronic publications adhere to the organization’s writing style and colour and logo usage guidelines;
- Oversee reporting and analysis of web traffic statistics;
- Keep current with web technology;
- Supervise the Web Master and any other staff; and
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the National Corporate Communications & Sustainability Relations Head.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Web programming and design
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 6 years of HTML and JavaScript coding experience;
- At least one year of experience with WordPress;
- Experience creating and maintaining SQL and Access databases preferred;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience creating templates and individual graphics for the Web and email;
- At least one year of experience managing staff and/or consultants
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent command of English and/or Bahasa Indonesia
- PC skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word & Powerpoint)
- Ability to manage and guide creative minds to a brand appropriate end product.
- Expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

WEB MASTER
JOB SUMMARY
The Web Master will create, maintain and, as appropriate, expand the Sinar Mas Agri-business and food Web sites, online campaigns and social media, often leading special projects and campaigns, to help tell the Sinar Mas Agri-business and Food corporate story in a compelling, shareable way.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Accountabilities
- Lead special projects and campaigns;
- Perform routine web content updates, including job postings, press releases, etc.;
- Create and optimize graphics for the Web and social media;
- Code new HTML email and Web page templates;
- Code and disseminate Sinar Mas Agri-business and food e-mails and e-newsletters;
- Monitor analytics, work to increase site traffic and improve site user experience;
- Help to ensure that content on the Web site is up to date and optimally displayed;
- Keep current with Web technology and update Web tools accordingly;
- Liaise with programme staff on content review and development;
- Occasionally approve work from staff contributors; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Identify, develop, write and produce stories, infographics and other content for use in print and digital formats that tell the Golden Agri-Resources (Sinar Mas Agri-business and Food) corporate story in a compelling, shareable way.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Accountabilities
- Working with the Content Generation team, develop and write weekly stories on a wide range of topics for the corporate blogs and intranet
- Cover and report on events across the company’s operations in Indonesia for in-house and external publication
- Help produce content for GAR social media channels including LinkedIn and Twitter
- Work with designers to produce content such as infographics and other company material (brochures, leaflets etc)
- Contribute to the execution of the Corporate Communications Strategy
