PT Toba Bara Sejahtra Tbk (Toba Bara) adalah salah satu produsen utama batubara termal yang kompetitif di Indonesia. Didirikan pada tahun 2010 sebagai anak perusahaan PT Toba Sejahtra Group, Toba Bara telah berkembang menjadi produsen batubara utama yang beroperasi pada 3 (tiga) konsesi area tambang batubara di Kalimantan Timur. Area-area tambang yang berdekatan ini, yang dikelola oleh 3 (tiga) anak perusahaan, berada pada lokasi tambang yang menguntungkan, serta dekat jaraknya dengan pelabuhan setempat. Luas area tambang Toba Bara secara keseluruhan sekitar 7087 hektar dengan total estimasi sumber daya sebesar 236 juta ton.
Pembangunan pertama kami pada aset greenfield dimulai dengan PT Indomining pada tahun 2007, diikuti dengan PT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN) pada tahun 2008. Kemudian, pembangunan PT Trisensa Mineral Utama (TMU) dimulai pada tahun 2011. PROJECT MANAGER
Job Responsibility :
- Oversee all aspects of the planning, execution, commissioning and closeout on a given project
- Coordinating with all functions related to planning, quality control, progress and cost control
- Precisely define the scope of the project, prepare the project schedule, and update the schedule as it evolves : propose the project budget and then manage the project.
- Identify and minimize potential risks to the project timeline and budget
- Planning the workforce needs to support the smooth implementation of the project
- Monitoring and tracking Project progress and handling any issues.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties; Legal Counsel, Authorities and regulators, or Government related.
Job Qualification :
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Construction/Equivalent
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in power plant construction, of which 10 years must be functioning at site managerial level, preferably in PLTU Project
- Specific experience of working successfully with ultra-supercritical coal-fired power plants and with Chinese EPC/OEM would be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated success in leading and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary site, engineering staff and contracted resources.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels in English.
SITE MANAGER
Job Responsibility :
- Provide advice on the coordination of overall field effort including erection activities, suppliers, contractors, start-up, and testing activities
- Review, analyze, and report both weekly and monthly on Project safety, quality, performance, construction budget, and schedule
- Recommend appropriate action to maintain the Project plan
- Provide advice and monitor the implementation of the following: loss control and Project safety, Project quality assurance, Project controls, construction management procedures, materials management procedures and of the Project start-up and testing plan
- Review conformed to construction records, and other contract closeout activities
- Ensure that the site staff adheres to safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities.
Job Qualification :
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Construction/Equivalent
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in planning/scheduling/cost control on power plant constructions, preferably in PLTU Project
- Specific experience of working successfully on combined cycle power plants.
- Demonstrated success in leading and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary site, engineering staff and contracted resources.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels in English.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Job Responsibility :
- Develop technical mechanical standards for the construction of special and power plant mechanical equipment and to provide daily and weekly progress reports to ensure the construction is done according to schedule.
- Develop and propose mechanical designs for the construction of power plant to coordinate the designs with the EPC contractors to ensure construction is done according to specification.
- Review and analyze issues on the designs of mechanical construction and to develop recommendations for follow up actions to ensure the issues are accurately and swiftly addressed.
- Coordinate and provide instructions to EPC contractor regarding the mechanical works which has been agreed and instructed as well as to monitor contractor performance and progress to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design and schedule.
- Review and recommend cost-effective equipment modification to be supplied by EPC contractors to help improve performance, reliability and safety.
- Monitor contractor performance and progress based on the construction schedule for special facilities and to report as well as to provide recommendations for any issues on the construction to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.
Job Qualification :
- Minimum Bachelor Degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma Degree with many years of experience are welcome to apply)
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar position (from Power Plant Construction, Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry), preferably in PLTU project

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Job Responsibility :
- Monitor subcontractor’s performance on the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities to ensure that construction is done according to design and provide back up for voltage facilities management if needed.
- Identify instrumentation and electrical design issues during the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities and to recommend and coordinate action plans to ensure corrective action is taken.
- Monitor and report subcontractor’s construction progress for the power plant’s Electrical facilities to ensure construction is done on the schedule and to recommend corrective actions for any instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering issues.
- Identify potential cost-effective equipment modification that has the potential to improve performance, reliability and safety.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of instructions regarding the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities from Electrical team leader and C&I and E Engineering Manager to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities regarding the construction of Electrical facilities for the power plant and to monitor the progress and performance of the subcontractors to ensure that the power plant’s Electrical facilities is constructed on schedule and on spec.
Job Qualification :
- Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Electrical Engineering from reputably University
- Minimum 3 years experience in electrical engineering project (project construction or plant maintenance) preferably in PLTU project
- Good competencies on electrical engineering, project management, technology design, and systems analysis.
- Good command in English both verbal and written
- Willing to be located at Minahasa Utara
CIVIL ENGINEER
Job Responsibility :
- Manages and coordinates all on-site construction activities (including subcontractors) for compliance with the CPM schedule and monitors and enforces compliance with contract requirements; Implements the Project Construction Execution Plan. Directs field staff in the daily, weekly planning process.
- Directs and approves the development and implementation of construction schedule (including subcontractors) recovery plans as required.
- Assists Project Manager with client interface and relations.
- Coordinates with Material Manager to review all procured materials for acceptance. Reviews and approves equipment rentals (if supplied by company) and coordinates shared use of this equipment with subcontractors. Coordinates with Site Manager to perform periodic field audits.
- Monitors all extra work authorization requests, back charges, and supplier and subcontractor progress/final payment requests
- Adheres to Safety, Quality, Ethical Standards, Lessons Learned, and Performance Management programs in accordance with Division Policies, Standards, Guides, and Contractual commitments.
- Understands the major commercial and deliverable terms of the construction subcontracts and manages within these terms.
- Responsible for the effective management of construction Manufacturer’s Service Technicians and the timesheet tracking.
Job Qualification :
- Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Civil Engineering from reputably University
- Minimum 3 years experience in power plant construction, preferably in PLTU project
- Good competencies on civil engineering, project management, project construction, technology design, and systems analysis.
